How two individuals with different talents set out to create something
so wonderful and authentic: gourmet vegan cuisine.
This union of talents and dreams gave rise to an extraordinary journey.

A lover of diving and tennis, although his magic extends beyond these two disciplines to another facet of his life that he handles with skill and creativity: cooking, a genuine love for ingredients, and a special talent with dough.

Mercedes

She left behind her career in finance to embark on environmental volunteering in Costa Rica. Her passion started focused on environmental protection, to end up discovering a deep love for cooking.

Our Love Story

Eleven years ago, our lives crossed paths in Costa Rica.
It was there that we discovered our passion for cooking, sustainability, and health. With that deep connection,
we decided to combine the best of both worlds and open our small restaurant, which we named La Cuchara Verde.
Since then, we have been committed to sharing our Positive Food vision with our customers.

Our restaurant garnered great success among tourists and American and Canadian residents. We created a non-existent market in the area, pioneering the introduction of Plant-Based specialty cuisine.

Immersing ourselves in creativity, we were in a constant state of ideation and experimentation in the kitchen, not dwelling on putting a price tag on the menus.

Our focus was solely on creating exquisite, healthy recipes and observing how our customers relished in the delicious food. Today, we can proudly say that, thanks to La Cuchara Verde, six years later, there isn’t a single restaurant without a vegan corner.

We established a complete gastronomic sanctuary, crafting dishes that nourish both the body and the soul.

We embarked on a new chapter. Longing to be closer to our family, we returned to Spain and undertook our current project, leading us through an exciting journey of continuous learning and growth

Our mission is to bring our values of sustainability, health, and ethics to as many people as possible, with the aim of contributing to a better world.

The Workshop

Our experience in Costa Rica inspired us to share our values of sustainability,
health, and ethics with as many people as possible.
Wanting to do so in Spain, closer to family,
led us to embark on opening our own Culinary Workshop with the focus on providing an
innovative and 100% plant-based gastronomic experience.
In this space, we continue to innovate and create recipes for specialty stores and restaurants.

With our line of vegan Cachopos, we once again became pioneers and leaders in positioning and sales.

Finalists in Sustainability and Social Entrepreneurship awards
organized by Andalucía Emprende and the Provincial Government of Málaga.

Granted the Malaga Sustainable Business Seal,
recognized as one of the first 18 Malaga-based companies compliant with
the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Decalogue.

Our vision is to become the first 100% vegan catering company with nationwide coverage across the entire Iberian Peninsula.

We are devoted to providing an exceptional culinary experience on a national scale, bringing the diversity and delight of vegan cuisine to every corner of the country.
